Who we are
Horus Consultancy Inc. is a Canadian business founded in 2021, with a physical presence in Canada and a focus on serving organizations across the Gulf and North America. We bring together IT governance, risk and compliance consulting, IT internal and external audit, and professional training through our training brand, Horus Academy.
Our work connects technical requirements with business priorities. We help organizations understand their risks, assess their controls and turn findings into practical improvements. Our approach combines consulting, audit experience and education so that people can apply what they learn in their day-to-day work.

IT GRC consulting
Support for IT governance, risk management and compliance: understanding your current position, clarifying responsibilities, reviewing policies and controls, and developing a practical improvement roadmap aligned with your objectives.
IT internal and external audit
Assessment of IT processes and controls against agreed criteria, with clear findings and actionable recommendations. We define the scope, responsibilities and independence requirements for each engagement before work begins.
Training and education
Professional development through Horus Academy, with self-study, e-learning and live instructor-led options. Training covers areas such as information security, IT service management, governance, risk, business continuity and AI management.
Experience that connects the disciplines
Islam Elzayat brings more than 17 years of experience across IT service management, digital transformation, cybersecurity, governance, risk and compliance. His work spans consulting, third-party auditing and training for public and private sector organizations.
His professional background includes CISA and PMP certifications, ITIL Master credentials and more than 500 third-party audit days. He also leads training at Horus Academy. This combination brings a practical understanding of how governance, controls, service management and project delivery work together.

Through Horus Consultancy, clients can discuss internal audit and readiness support, together with coordination of an external certification enquiry with MSECB where permitted. Certification engagements and auditor assignments are subject to MSECB’s acceptance and impartiality requirements. Certification decisions remain with MSECB.
